DESCRIPTION:Caroline Portlock\, PHR\, IOM\n\nCaroline is the Director of Workforce Development at Joliet Junior College\, and responsible for the development and coordination of both Will and Grundy County's Workforce Development Programs and services.\n\nShe is the Past President/CEO of the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry - during her 12 year tenure\, the Chamber implemented strategies that successfully grew the Chamber's recruitment and retention efforts.  In addition\, the Chamber purchased their (still current) location and grew from one location to three to better serve the surrounding communities.  Under her leadership\, the Chamber launched Women in Business\, CEO Roundtable\, Business Expansion and Young Professionals Networking groups.  They also started the Channahon Minooka Chamber division-serving the eastern part of the county.
